About Alice

Alice Tait is a freelance illustrator.

Alice's illustrations are drawing based, with early influences from printmaking and a love of typefaces and handwriting. Alice has been widely commissioned and you can look out for her work in many places! At the moment Alice has created a window display for John Lewis in Oxford Street for London Fashion Week.

Other clients include Penguin (for Jamie Oliver and Nigel Slater), Vogue, The Times, The FT, The Folio Society and Waitrose. She also works with the Art Group and has a range of cards and prints that can be found in many shops, including WHSmith and Habitat.

Alice graduated from Bath Spa University in 2002 and started out straightaway in London. She stayed there for seven years, working from the busy Great Western Studios. However in 2009 she traded cement mixers for sheep, and moved back to Bath. She now works from her studio space in the gorgeous new Glove Factory Studios.
